Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Knyt uses as few of them as it can: the ones that make the site work, one that remembers your language, and two that count visits if you say yes.
All cookies on knytapp.com are set by Knyt itself. There are no third-party cookies. The table below lists every cookie Knyt sets, what it is for and how long it stays.
Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in, show a confirmation after you move to the next page, and remember the cookie choices you have made. They cannot be switched off, because the site does not work without them. The language cookie is functional: it remembers the language you picked.
Everything else is optional and stays off until you turn it on.
Our usage statistics are collected on our own server, not by a script running in your browser, and nothing is collected until you accept analytics cookies. We count page views and how the site and app are used, for example sign-ups, imports and new projects, and pass them to Google Analytics 4. The two analytics cookies hold a random visitor id and a visit id. They hold no name and no email address.
If you withdraw your consent, both cookies are deleted immediately.
Knyt sets no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no social media trackers. We do not sell your data to advertisers or share it with them.
You can change your choices further down this page at any time, or in the consent bar at the bottom of the site. You can also delete and block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, you can no longer sign in.
How we handle personal data in general is described in the privacy policy.
