Julia has knitted since she was a teenager. She likes knitting unexpected things, like hats and odd tops made from scrap yarn. She co-founded Amöba and Knyt, and knits every guide before it is published.
How we make our guides
Every guide is knitted and photographed by hand before it is published. The steps are checked against several sources, and we correct the guide when someone finds a mistake.
